No, we are unable to use personal jewelry for either new or healed piercings.
To maintain the highest safety and hygiene standards, we only use brand-new, sterile, and verified jewelry, ensuring full traceability and the best possible healing process. Each piece undergoes rigorous quality checks during manufacturing and before use.
Even if your jewelry is from a brand we carry, we cannot install previously worn jewelry in a fresh piercing. This policy is in place to give your piercing the best start and promote trouble-free healing.
💍Jewelry Selection:
We have hundreds of pieces to choose from in store, catering to various tastes and budgets. If you’re getting pierced, we keep a rotating stock in the studio—you can pick your jewelry on the day or plan ahead, or pre-purchase through the webstore.
If you want something specific, please let us know before booking so we can check stock or order it in advance to have ready for your piercing appointment.
💸Plan Ahead: Before booking, we suggest checking out our webstore to get an idea what is available to suit your tastes. Since jewelry is often ordered on demand, availability can vary - so contact us ahead of booking if you have your heart set on a piece!
🌍 Worldwide Shipping:
We believe that quality jewelry should be accessible to everybody, everywhere! We are based in the UK, but offer International Shipping! (Please note that some countries have limitations and regulations on shipping precious metals like gold and titanium. If you’re unsure whether we can ship to your location, please contact us before ordering so we can help.)
A: No, you cannot get pierced while on antibiotics, We prioritize your health and safety. Being on antibiotics indicates that your body is fighting an infection or healing from one. Getting pierced during this time can place additional stress on your immune system. Additionally, if you have a severe infection or are feeling generally unwell, we recommend waiting until you have fully recovered to ensure optimal healing and reduce the risk of complications. Always consult with your healthcare provider before proceeding with a piercing, and be sure to inform our staff about any medications you are currently taking. Remember, our goal is to provide you with the best and safest piercing experience possible.
Yes, titanium jewelry is paramagnetic, which means it doesn't react strongly to magnetic fields and generally can be kept in during MRI or X-Ray procedures. However, it is paramount that the jewelry does not obscure the imaging, and the Radiographer must be content that it is safe to leave in place. We strongly recommend that you consult with the hospital beforehand to confirm if it is appropriate for your specific imaging needs.
Certain medical conditions and medications can affect the healing process of a new piercing. Individuals with diabetes, autoimmune disorders, or circulatory issues may experience slower healing times and should consult with a healthcare provider before getting pierced. Additionally, medications such as corticosteroids, blood thinners, and immunosuppressants can hinder the body's ability to heal properly. If you're taking any prescribed medications, we strongly recommend discussing your plans to get pierced with your doctor before proceeding. It's also important to inform us before booking so we can advise you safely.
Your body needs to heal from childbirth before it can heal a piercing effectively. Therefore, we recommend waiting at least six months after childbirth if you are bottle feeding your baby. If you are breastfeeding, we suggest waiting three months after you have stopped breastfeeding to ensure your body has had sufficient time to recover. This waiting period helps to ensure that your immune system is strong and capable of handling the healing process required for a new piercing. Always consult with a healthcare professional regarding your specific situation before proceeding with a new piercing.
We recommend planning your piercing appointment for a time when you can fully commit to the aftercare process. Specifically, it is advisable to schedule your appointment for after any holidays or vacations. This is because we strongly discourage submerging your healing piercing in seawater, as it can increase the risk of infection or cause other complications. During the healing period, it's crucial to follow proper aftercare instructions, such as cleaning the piercing with sterile saline solution and avoiding unnecessary contact or pressure.
Children are not permitted in the piercing studio area due to insurance restrictions. If you need to bring your child, please ensure you have a chaperone as we are not insured or qualified to provide babysitting services. We are unable to proceed with the piercing appointment without a chaperone.
Chaperone Policy
1. Under 16s
Any individual under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a chaperone while in the studio.
If they are receiving a piercing, they must meet the requirements outlined in our Age Restrictions Policy for the requested piercing.
2. Piercings Requiring 18+ Age Verification
For piercings that require the client to be 18 or older, the accompanying chaperone must also be at least 18 years old.
3. Moral Support & Chaperones
Anyone attending as a chaperone or for moral support must be at least 14 years old to enter the piercing area, unless the piercing requires the client to be 18+—in which case, no one else will be permitted in the piercing space.
Chaperones must be able to remain seated, follow all studio instructions, and avoid causing distractions.
Babies and young children are not permitted in the piercing room under any circumstances. They must remain in the waiting area with an accompanying adult.
4. Children in the Waiting Area
Our piercing studio is located downstairs, and we cannot accommodate babies or young children in the waiting area without another adult present to supervise them.
5. Studio Environment & Guest Limitations
As our lobby is shared with tattoo artists, we kindly ask clients to avoid bringing children to appointments whenever possible, as this can be disruptive.
Our waiting area is small and cannot comfortably accommodate extra guests.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a professional, safe, and focused environment for all clients and staff.
